Weeping Garden Hose Kit

When there is a hosepipe ban in place, this Weeping Garden Hose Kit lets you carry on watering your plants legally as it includes all those components specified by the water authorities to allow you to keep watering your plants whilst adhering to the hosepipe ban.
This drip irrigation kit includes a programable water timer, an inline pressure reducer, weeping hose, end plug and straight connector to join ordinary hosepipe to the weeping hose.

Each kit includes:

 Weeping Hose  - A black, semi-flexible ½ inch (13mm) hose that gently ‘weeps’ water along its’ entire length, directly onto the soil. Weeping hose can be used on the surface of the soil or buried below it (up to 6 inches /13cm from the surface), buried below the surface of the soil weeping hose works at maximum efficiency as it prevents water evaporation and prolongs the life of the hose.
Weeping hose ideally needs to be run off your mains water supply, but can be run from large water storage tanks that give a good head of water.

Darlac Water Timer  - This simple to use water timer lets you set up to 24 watering times per day (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72 hours or once a week) and to water from 1 minute up to 2 hours (choose from 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes).
Runs off 2 x AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Designed to fit a ¾ inch screw threaded tap (to fit to a ½ inch tap purchase our one of our Tap Adaptors (see you may also like below).


Pressure Reducing Master Unit this filters and reduces mains water pressure to 21psi (1.5 bar) and includes a removable filter which should be cleaned periodically to ensure efficient operation. This unit simply screws onto the base of the Water Timer and can then be fitted with ordinary ˝" hosepipe to carry the water to the point where you wish to use the weeping hose.


Barbed Fittings a Plug for the end of the Weeping Hose and a Straight Connector to make a secure join between standard hose and weeping hose.
