12mm Shiplap Cladding – consisting of wooden panels that overlap in such a way that they create a flatter surface and more weather resistant than other types of cladding. All four sides of the store are supplied as complete panels ready to be joined together, helping reduce the time required for assembly.
Dipped Honey-Brown Finish – for a traditional, attractive finish to the store. Neatly finished off with bargeboards and cover strips.
Solid Board Floor With Bearers – three bearers are supplied to attach to the underside of the floor panel.
Solid Board Roof – supplied as one panel to form the complete roof.
Mineral Roofing Felt – this traditional style roofing felt helps to waterproof the roof panels and protect your store from the elements. It’s easy to install once you have the roof board in place. It’s provided as one piece so there are no overlaps and is held in place using 10mm felt nails.
Hinged Single Door – with Z framing on the door to ensure strength and stability. Large, T-hinges secure the door to the frame of the store. When fitting the door you can decide whether it is to open on the left or the right. A turn button is supplied to it near the top of the door and a hasp and staple fitting to fit to the centre of the door – for added security you could fit a padlock (not included) through this fitting. Door opening size : 3ft 9½ inches (116cm) high x 1ft 9 inches (54cm wide).
Shelf Included – resting on four shelf support blocks within the store this shelf can be left out if you want to store taller items.

Positioning The Store
When positioning the store and in order to validate the guarantee, adequate provision must be made to ensure ground contact is avoided and air is able to circulate underneath the building.
Placing the building on a concrete pad or slab base is acceptable provided that the building is not allowed to sit in pooled water during wet conditions.
If the building is to sit on soil or grass it MUST be erected on pressure treated wooden 50mm x 50mm or similar bearers (these are not supplied with this store). Rowlinson recommends using pressure treated bearers with all buildings on any type of base.
Timber Information
As timber is a natural material, there are certain weather conditions that may affect the materials properties. In times of excessive dry spells, the material may lose some of its internal moisture causing a certain degree of shrinkage on a panel and in periods of excessive rain there will be a certain amount of swelling throughout the wooden panels. This process can not be avoided. If you have problems with certain boards shrinking in dry spells, try to decrease the amount of direct sunlight on the building or the amount of air passing over the building. During hot spells spray water directly onto the panels with the aid of a garden hose.
