This Compact Compost Tumbler was developed in the 1990's specifically for gardeners with medium size gardens or small allotments. With the same high quality features of the Original Compost Tumbler ensuring the fast decomposition of garden waste - depending on the ambient temperature and combination of materials, finished compost can be available after as little as just 14 days!! 
One of the reasons the composting process is faster is that you turn the drum - ideally you should turn the drum five times every day - which is made easy with its sturdy, gear driven handle. By regularly turning the drum you are redistributing moisture throughout the contents, redistributing the microbe population (and worms, if you have them) to fresh food supplies, helping to evenly mix the green and brown waste you have added and are breaking up clumps into smaller pieces more easily managed by bugs and worms. All these help to result in waste being turned into a rich, usable compost, quicker.
