Elite Min E Lite Cold Frame

Please Note: Elite use their own transport to deliver their cold frames.  Please allow 4-5 weeks for delivery on plain frame models and 8-10 for painted models.

Available in three lengths these New Min E Lite Cold Frames from Elite are made from rust and rot proof extruded aluminium to create a very long lasting, robust frame, glazed with toughened safety glass enabling maximum light to reach your plants together with maximum safety.  

With a pitched roof to boost natural light, your plants will be well protected in one of these robust cold frames. Featuring opening roof vents ensures you can control ventilation, air circulation and humidity, making them ideal for tender young plants, seeds and cuttings, especially in our Great British weather where your plants need protection from potentially harsh weather conditions.    

All are a generous 2ft 4in / 71cm wide and are 1ft 4in / 40.6cm to the eaves and 2ft 3in / 68.5cm high to the ridge, providing you with lots of protected growing space which is easily accessed by the opening vents in the roof. This makes them perfect if you want to use them to harden off tender young plants, create a patio herb garden or make a practical additional to your greenhouse. 

Choose a cold frame which includes UPVC bar capping and this will create an even cleaner, neat, professional finish to these substantial cold frames.   

These cold frames are available either plain or with a hard wearing, coloured powder coated finish allowing you to match your cold frame to your garden or greenhouse.

Cold Frame Finish – you can select to have a standard, plain aluminium frame or to have a powder coated frame, selecting one of the ten colours available – berry, black, brown, graphite, green, mocha, navy, olive, stone or white.

Simply select painted and indicate the colour required in the specification box.

With Bar Capping – if you choose a cold frame with bar capping then the bar capping colour will be supplied to match the finish of the cold frame – e.g. berry bar capping with a berry raised cold frame finish. However, if you order a plain aluminium cold frame you can specify what colour of bar capping you would like.
