This Clear Polythene is used to cover polytunnels and provides excellent clarity and transmits 92% of the light crops use to grow and develop. In the UK where light levels can be lower, this clear polythene allows more light to enter which in turn can result in crops being ready to pick earlier.
In addition to its temperature control properties, this clear polythene is also UV ‘open’, allowing UV light to reach your plants which is beneficial to both edible and ornamental crops, helping to enhance the fragrance, taste, colour, earlier harvesting, and longer post-harvest shelf life.
A polytunnel covered with this clear polythene should be ideal for raising bedding plants, as well as nursery and salad crops.
To order the length of polythene you require alter the quantity - for example, if you wanted to order 20 metres of polythene enter a quantity of 20 and you will receive one continuous length of 20 metres by your chosen width.
