More commonly known as Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure Code, 3D secure stands for 3 Domain Secure, the three parties involved in the secure transaction process, who are the following -
1/ The Vendor - in this case Two Wests & Elliott Ltd.
2/ The Acquiring Bank - in this case Elavon Merchant Services (employed by Two Wests & Elliott Ltd)
3/ Visa and Mastercard.
Once you've registered and created your own personal password with your card provider, you will be prompted during the checkout process to provide this private password in order to validate you are the authorised card user, each time you make an online purchase.
Please Note : Your 3D secure code (password) is not available to Two Wests & Elliott Ltd, we cannot help you reset this, it can be reset by yourself during the appropriate stage of the checkout process.
