This Thermo-Wood Composter has been especially developed to incorporate a new material – thermolen – which will speed up the composting process – whilst at the same time has been given a high-quality, wood effect finish. finished  

As a result you will have a compost bin which will turn your garden and kitchen waste into a nutrient rich compost faster than a traditional compost bin. At the same time it is virtually maintenance free – simply a washdown with a hosepipe or soapy water will keep it looking clean and brand new, unlike a traditional wooden compost bin which would need more maintenance to keep if looking good and lasting for a long time.

A split, hinged lid lets you easily add waste into the bin, or access inside to check the temperature of the composter or to mix up the waste which is decomposing. Once the waste has turned into a nutrient rich compost this is easily accessed via the panels at the base of the composter.

Made using thermolen – this is an innovative, quality material, developed specifically for use in composters. This material is ‘foamed’ making it highly insulating. By using this material to create the walls of the compost bin it helps to retain the heat generated by the composting process, which in turn accelerates the composting process. Thermolen is sustainably manufactured from 100% recycled polypropylene (PP).  

Ingenious aeration system – this compost bin has been designed with ventilation openings on all four sides, concealed under the wood effect boards to keep the side panels decorative. Having adequate aeration helps the composting process to effectively take place.

Easy to fill – two large filler flaps form the top of the compost bin. These hinged lids can be opened singly or together and enable you to add garden or kitchen waste quickly and easily.  

Easy and convenient removal of compost – two large, removeable access panels at the base composter makes it simple for you to remove the compost from the base of the bin when its ready to be used.

Soil Fence
This simple, black floor grid is made from hard wearing, recycled plastic. Providing a flat surface onto which to stand your compost bin, its’ clever design allows microorganisms access to your composter whilst making it more difficult for rodents to gain access (it should be noted that as this soil fence is plastic it can be chewed through).

Self-Assembly :
Supplied for simple self-assembly, no tools required. The side panels simply clip securely together to create a sturdy, robust compost bin.
