Description
This elegant Cascata Water Butt has been designed to look like a real clay pot whilst being made from tough, high-quality plastic. Standing 47 inches high it can hold up to 245 litres of water and includes both a brass tap and a hose pipe to enable you to easily access the stored water. Making this butt even more decorative it features an integrated planter at the top (or it can be used as a bird bath).
To collect rainwater, position the water butt next to your downpipe to direct water into the top of the barrel. Or use a rain diverter (available to purchase separately, see you may also like below) to connect the butt to the downpipe. Or position it anywhere in your garden and let rainwater fill the barrel naturally through the open top section.
Size - approximately 47 inches (119cm) high, 25 inches (63cm) diameter at the widest point, and 19 inches (49cm) at the base. Weight approx. 11kg. Capacity 245 litres (54 imperial gallons).
Made from tough, double-walled, roto moulded plastic - means this water barrel can withstand extreme temperatures and will not chip, fade or crack over time. Being double-walled increases its strength and durability. Please note - if temperatures fall below freezing you should drain the water butt.
Supplied complete with brass tap to make filling watering cans easy - distance from the floor to tap is 24 1/2 cm
Also includes a garden hose - approx. 71 inches (180cm) long which attaches to its outlet on the water butt. A hook is also supplied on which the hose can be hung neatly in place.
